After her passing in 2012, I found it too difficult to continue, so I stepped away from baking for a while. But in 2022, I felt a strong pull to return to it, as if honoring her memory

My mom's nickname was 'Sweets,' and with our last name being Shine, it felt right to name the business 'Sweets That Shine,' a tribute to her and our shared passion.
